Crafter Man: author of the two most appalling posts I've ever read here.

Why? Am I causing you to lose your erection?

Are you twelve? Seriously, you’re shit.

Seriously, you’re a goddamn necrophiliac.

Why didn’t you tell me before one of the children was yours? Now I am hard.

People use their cars for things like getting to work, transporting goods and picking up hookers.

Just to check that your analogy holds up, what exactly are the guns for?

Far more than delusional; he’s a screaming ass. What other topic would this be tolerated in? Imagine if someone said something comparable about rape. Or abortion. Or even the electoral college…

It says a hell of a lot more about Scumpup (not inaptly named) than it does about any discussion of legitimate gun control. The fact that they can belittle 27 dead children (as well as sexualizing it) gives you all you need to know about their psychosis.

Which is larger in your wordview right now:
Satisfaction at being “right about guns”
or
Sorrow at the deaths of these children.

Nothing commands attention and respect like an insult based on username.

How about “desire to change things so that this is less likely in the future”?

None of them were mine. Good to see you admit that that this is about you jerking off over dead kids, no matter whose they are, though.

We are talking here about the [del]sociopath[/del] [del]psychopath[/del] creature (I refuse to call him a man, or a human) with antisocial personality disorder who feels a need to wear its steel dick for all to see when it shops at Lowe’s or WalMart. I don’t know what it’s afraid of. Perhaps the Salvation Army bellringer is lying in wait for it, or an illegal alien in the Lowe’s parking lot might ask it for a job. So it would be best to ignore it, except it and its ilk are, despite having thrown away all of their humanity, still allowed to vote.

Crafter_Man has always been a sick fuck, if I don’t have him mistaken for someone else.

A Human did this.
Humans have done much worse.
Each of us is Human.

Don’t for a moment think he wasn’t as Human as you are.

People can walk, bike or use mass transit to get to work or transport goods, and I imagine the hookers would adapt somehow if all cars were banned.

Seriously, I don’t know diddly about Crafter Man and whether or not he’s nuts, but no matter how strict the guns laws were to become, massacres are going to keep happening in this country until the root cause is fixed.

And yes, it’s pretty disgusting that the antis have to jump in the very day a massacre occurs.

Indeed they can. Just as they use their cars to do that stuff.

So, the guns. What are they for?

It was a bullshit thing for him to say, designed for the sole purpose of shocking those who read it, and to stir up a hornet’s nest of condemnation, while he can feel all macho and smug. In other words, he’s a fucking amoral troll who ought to be banned. Not that he will give a shit, but I, for one, will never again engage him in dialog, nor acknowledge his contributions on this board. Call it a personal boycott. Fuck him and everyone who thinks like him.

Doesn’t mean I have to treat him like one.

Okay, IRL in, say, a court of law or even at a dopefest I would, but there would still be a little voice reminding me that he is fucking nuts in an unpleasant way.

Walking, biking and mass transit don’t kill as many people as cars do, and the antis whole argument is that guns should be banned or at least heavily legislated because of things like the current massacre. If we are banning things just because of what they might do, we should start with the things that kill more people.

Mine are for hunting, field trials and home protection. Tho what they are for shouldn’t be a consideration, since this country was supposed to be about freedom to be and do what we want as long as we aren’t infringing on the rights of others.

It disappoints me that in a time of mourning like this, rather than engage in an honest and frank discussion of the role of guns, gun laws, and the utility of the second amendment, you and other gun owners prefer to libel and insult.

Given the choice between a) keeping my car and living with the current accident rate, and b) giving up my car and a guarantee there will never be another accidental traffic death in this country, my choice is completely obvious under that scenario. I would be directly responsible for saving more lives than any one human in history, and I’d probably get tired of flying to Oslo to accept yet another Nobel Peace Prize.
