Crank Yankers

Don’t hit me! This really requires a factual answer…

Okay, so I’m watching this show [Crank Yankers] for the first time and I’m wondering about something… They’ve got this skit that involves calling some business and complaining that their product caused testicular enlargement, of elephantine proportions. The thing is, the puppet they use has gigantic, hairy testicles (clearly visible) protruding from his lap as he talks on the phone. How is it that they can get away with showing a puppets testicles, but not a man’s? I mean, I thought genitals in general were verboten on regular tv, especially during primetime (show airs at 8:30 EST here)? Am I misinformed?

It was a puppet with testicles that probably had so little realism as to suggest comedy.

I’ve seen dog and horse testicles on TV. What about that? Why not puppet testicles? You got something against puppets? Besides, all puppet parts are beautiful.

Comedy Central also regularly shows the full uncut version of South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut, which has the word “fuck” about a thousands times, not to mention showing Saddam Hussein’s cock (it was a real cock in the movie, not a cartoon one).

I’m sure a lot of people complain but Comedy Central is making a business decision.

I think because they are on cable, they aren’t subject to regulation by the FCC… ?

Really? I always thought it was a doctored sausage…

I saw an interview with Trey and Matt where they said they got a bunch of old porno mags and clipped out the pic.

I agree, all puppet parts are beautiful! But seriously, those testicles looked realistic. All the way down to some black wiry threadbits made to look like miscellaneous pubic hair.

I didn’t realize that about South Park. I’m not a regular viewer of that show.

BTW–I’m not complaining (in case anyone is inclined to think I am). I thought the skit was hilarious and I’ll definately be checking out that show in the future. It just surprised me to see hairy puppet balls.

So you’re okay with obscene-calling random people for fun, but the fact that they show foam nuts is right out?

I dare you to watch http://www.internetslutts.com/ :stuck_out_tongue:

Okay. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you didn’t see where I posted this:

In case you need me to be a little more clear: I’m okay with “obscene-calling random people for fun” and “foam nuts”.
