Word is spreading around Saint Louis about the upcoming wedding of Adam Thurston and Aymee Jones. It’s an open to the public Punk Rock Show and Wedding at The Hi-Pointe:

No, “The Wedding Of The Year” is not a Story Of The Year rip-off band. It’s not actually a band at all. It promises to be a star-studded night celebrating the only things in life that really matter: love and rock 'n roll. Riot For Violet, The Affair, The Maxtone 4, and a once-in-a-lifetime reunion of **TripStar **will rock your socks off! In the midst of it all, two young lovers will be wed. No. Really. They are going to become legally bound on stage with the city’s finest. To boot, they want to share it with you St. Louis! This is really something you do not want to miss!

One caveat: don’t park in the BP parking lot or you will be towed.

Oh, and the couple are registered at Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond.

It’s a wild and crazy idea that I’m sure chafes conservative family values proponents and therefore I love it.
