Any more examples of this? It could be just the one poster that did it, without the knowledge of the people running the site.
There was a case some years back of a site that was lifting entire threads to look like their forums were busy.
Yeah, it’s happened a few times where other forums copied not only OPs but entire threads in order to make their sites appear more active:
I follow both forums and this is not common.
The example you posted was a spam post, and four years old, probably done before spam filtering was implemented.
Regular crazyontap members now have the ability to delete spam, and do so quickly.
Wasn’t that something about chickens or roosters?
