Okay, while I want to kick the TV in when my wife is entranced by the Lifetime movie of the moment, or when she has a ‘mushy’ DVD playing, I can restrain myself at the last moment and eventually reach this conclusion: I owe it to her to at least try to create the movie-ish love making scene.
I am ‘hardcore’, not softcore/softporn like many chick flicks are. I try to convince her that everything looks so good because it’s so staged.
Ok, from lighting, to sheets, to whatever, please help me recreate a Hollywood love scene for home use.
That’s the goal: to create a perfect Hollywood love scene for personal use. Give me the ingredients/requirements/tips. Plus, incluide any Hollywood trickery that I need to know I’m up against.

Well, it may seem obvious, but you need a camera and a crew of people to stand around and record you. If you can make it past this hurdle, the other ingredients should be a piece of cake.
For anything else, I’ll need more details. What kind of movie is this love scene taking place in? Wacky teen sex comedy? Historical drama? Nature documentary? The type of scene you want will determine music, lighting, and all that jazz.
Which of you will get top billing? We’re going to have to do some makeup tests on you two, and scout locations…
