Hold your mouse button down and “scribble” a lot, then release. Do this several times and it should get finer and lacier.

I’ve gotten into a mini-correspondence with a fellow snowflake making addict. She seems pretty smart and witty. It turns out that she’s a Tom Lehrer fan, and she picked up the standard “42” Douglas Adams reference. I told her about the SDMB–let’s see if she joins. Her nom-de-snowflake, BTW, is Laurel. She’s in Houston.
I did some last night, don’t know how to post them here, I just put them under my username - I used SDMB as location, but mine never show up when I do the search… nor do Silver Fire’s and several others who I know made flakes… it says it found 382, but only shows a handful. Foo.

Except you can’t now because the website is getting all flaky and appears to have been snowed in.

Hey, everyone, it’s back up! Just thought I’d let you know so I wouldn’t be the only one not getting any work done this afternoon.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get the license number.
I forgot to mention, did you all notice the sky changes according to the time of day? Mine’s showing twilight right now, which is just about right.
Man, I’m so grateful for that site. It absolutely ROCKS!!! What better way to waste all your days until the holidays? Maybe this is what we should have in mind to celebrate?? Every day, at least one snowflake to make someone else smile. And to amuse yourself, of course, when you can’t make angels on the lawn (like here in east Texas).
So in other words, I’ve created a bazillion (well, not really, but I just love saying “bazillion” :p) both under this name and my real one, Kemi, so as to not clog up and annoy everyone else by truly having more than anyone on there. At least under the same username, that is.
