Create your own Tract. HAW HAW HAW!

Let’s just pretend that bong’s panel never happened. (we’re trying to play it straight here bong)

So, Diogenes, will you be doing the next one?

Panel 2

Susan: My future will consist only of being a good Christian wife and mother. I have no intention of workingm or having a career.

Julia: But don’t you want to contribute something to the world.

Susan: The best way I can contribute is to serve my husband as the church serves Christ.

Julia: That’s old fashioned thinking, Susan. Women have power now.

So far so good (except the weird phantom panel). I pictured the oppening pretty much the same. But like the Gay rally in Doom town there would be a few signs that would not make much sense. Like “Down with Men” or some other such inflamitory but weird sign.

To get an Idea where Jack might go with such a thing perhaps we can look at Genesis as what a woman’s roll was suposed to be.

kingpengvin , don’t forget St. Paul when you are thinking of a woman’s place. Are you going to do #3?

Sorry all but as much as I’d like to contribute to this one I’m getting kind of frazzled with everything going on. Between work and my wedding to TLL coming up in exactly four weeks I have to make some sacrifices. Please continue without me and I’ll try to contribute to the next tract.

Hey, Padeye, I didn’t know you were getting married! Congratulations! I can see where you are a little stretched for time just now. Is the wedding in Phoenix? If you feel safe about it, and wouldn’t count it as an invasion of your privacy, send me your address by email and I’ll send you a card or something. Don’t bother if you don’t have time.

Okay, so if [Bkingpengvin** doesn’t check in in the next few hours I’ll do another panel. Or, if anybody likes to tweak Jack Chick, and try and do this tract straight ala Chick’s actual tracts, new blood probably wouldn’t hurt. After all Diogenes and kingpengvin, who were the inspiration for this thread o’ tracts, let me in. If they would do that I imagine almost anyone could play.

Thanks Baker, I will. Yeah, getting married in our church in Phoenix. So far the guest tally looks to be around 100 so there is a lot to plan. A few of the Phoenix dopers will be there so I’m sure everyone will get a full report.

Um…someone needs to do the next panel…anyone…anyone…?

Panel 3

Susan: But women have always had power–the power to be good wives and good mothers! But in return for that power, we are commanded to submit to our husbands and let them have dominion over us!

Julia: (with incredulous look) Submit?!?! Dominion?!?! Aren’t you down with Women’s Lib?

(editorial comment: Julia is making far too much sense so far. It loses some of its Chickiness if the Godless Heathen is anything less than a pure cartoon of straw men, done by someone who has never known anyone with an opposing viewpoint in his entire life. Just a thought.)

The next panel should be Julia explaining her views of women’s lib–ridiculous ones, of course.

Dr. J

DrJ , that was a great panel! Welcome to the tract.

**Diogenes, ** I would have done another one but I thought kingpengvin might still want the next one. I figured if someone hadn’t done a new panel by Monday afternoon, I was going to finish it on my own. Now that I see we have a new panel I will get another in myself. Let me think for a little!

Panel 4 (Forgive the lateness of my reply)

The two are walking on past the demonstration there is one sign that says “Kill all male children” and another that says “Marriage is Prison”

Susan: Women’s Lib Julia? You mean liberation from God and that is no liberation.

Julia: Susan, You have it wrong. See, our leader Gloria S. has stated that it is womens job to make sure she is made equal to men. In fact we now control Reproductive technologies and are gaining more prominent positions in work so that one day there won’t need to be any more men. We can all be happy women living and loving together.

Susan I think you should have a talk to a friend of mine. He has all the answers

I think this tract should be a natural for some swipes at the RCC and it’s “Madonna worship.”

I would have thought that “Kill All Male Children” sign was a little over the top, butit isn’t as far out there as the tract “The Last Generation”. That one was totally wierd.

Panel 5

This a a split-view panel. It’s later that evening, Susan is at a prayer meeting, and is speaking to several clean cut looking friends. Julia is at a party in what looks like a large private home.

Sorry, I hit “Submit reply” and not “Preview Reply”. Here’s the rest of Panel 5.

Susan : I’m really worried about a friend of mine. She seems so totally brainwashed by “Women’s Lib”.

Jerry (one of the clean cut ones, and good looking too)Doesn’t she know what St. Paul says, especially in Titus 2:4-5 “so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be sensible, chaste, domestic, kind and submissive to their husbands, so that the word of God may not be discredited” ?

Susan : I don’t think so. I’ve tried *so * hard to witness to her, and be a good example though

Other side of panel. At the party Julia is talking to a woman with long dark hair, square granny glasses, and wearing a severe looking pantsuit.

Julia Oh, Ms LeFay, I’m so sorry I missed the rally today, I’d really wanted to go and hear you speak!

Ms. LeFay : (Leaning into Julia’s personal space) That’s okay Julia, #$%& happens. Maybe I can tell you more about real Women’s Lib personally. Here, have another beer.

Extremism in the name at flaming Jack Chick is no vice. Maybe a little over the top but it’s looking fun. There were times when groing up that the paranod mindset that thought UPC barcodes were the mark of the beast were taken as the truth.

Fred Phelps still says that our Topeka zip codes show how evil the town is, since they are numbered 666**.

Fred Phelps tracts? FAGJUNKTHEOLOGY!!! Nah. Fred Phelps is just hateful bile. Jack’s heart is occasionally in the right place but at least he’s funny.

Panel 6

Julia and Ms. Lefay are now sitting on a couch. We see two butch looking girls making out in the background.

Julia: [wide eyed] Are those girls KISSING?

Ms. LeFay: [putting a hand on Julia’s knee] Of course they’re kissing. They love each other as only two women can. All sex with men is rape, you know. Haven’t YOU ever wanted to kiss a girl?

Julia: N-n-no! And I haven’t had sex with a man either! I’m saving that for my husband!

Ms. LeFay: Husband, *#$@! Husband is another word for slavemaster!

Good panel Diogenes! That’s pretty much how I would have written the next scene. I see Julia as a person whose liberal, feminist rhetoric has mostly been gained at school. It’s like paint though, mostly on the surface and hasn’t soaked in. I have a vision of her “coming to her senses” in a deathbed scene, with a tearful Susan at the bedside. The epilogue would say how a now married Susan would name her first daughter Julia. Epilogues can be fun. Remember the one in Last Generation? “Bobby grew up and died in his sins!”
