I hope this lasts

FYI, six episodes of the original British series will be run on BBC America early Monday morning from 3 am to 6 am.
And for the record, “Claymation” is a registered trademark of Will Vinton, who won an Oscar for the short, Closed Mondays, in 1974, and who is probably best known for the California Raisins ads, but who had nothing to do with Creature Comforts or Wallace and Gromit. The generic term is clay animation. So there.
And I Hoover with an Electrolux. So there-er

OK, I just tried it. I guess I’ll be the lone dissenter here but… I thought it might be a clever filler on a sketch comedy show, but I couldn’t stomach a full 30 minutes. In small bites I think I would enjoy it.
I ended up fast-forwarding past to the next show.
I DVRed it and am watching it now. Seriously- the sick parakeet IS my mother. Holy crap. Hilarious, seriously.
Have you asked your mother if she has done any interviews lately?
The subtle little touches are what make it so funny to me. I loved the little penguin in the background of the polar bear interview just jumping up and down grinning and waving at the camera.
