Creepiest 80's sex comedy?

Sixteen Candles doesn’t hold up very well. Michael Anthony Hall’s videocam romp with a drunk and unconscious cheerleader probably wouldn’t get the same laughs today that it got in '84.

No movie with Aly Sheedy in a bathtub could be a worst movie in any catagory.

Ever since I first saw Just One the Guys I’ve been hoping to one day get flashed by a woman wearing a tux. It was pretty early on during adolescence that I saw this movie, and I’ve had a thing for women in pants ever since!

Me too. I always thought she was smokin’ hot. I think it the smile and the dimples.

I loved “Just one of the guys”

Now, the following was creapy on more than one level:
The Woo Woo Kid a.k.a. In the Mood
Alot of people probabley don’t remember it, but it still counts, having been made in 1987.

It doesn’t fit as one of those teen “comedies”, and I have to wonder just exactly what genre it would fit into (I never considered it a “comedy”), but the first thing that came to my mind from the OP was “After Hours”

LOTS of sexual tension from a number of different women (but I don’t think he ever gets it on with any of them - close, but no cigar), and all of the women are creepy in their own way. It’s one of those nightmare-that-doesn’t-end types of movies. All in all, probably better categorized as a “horror” film.

The scene in Revenge of the Nerds where the nerd leader seduces- or rather rapes- one of the cheerleaders by pretending to be one of the AB is rather disturbing if you stop to think about it.

Well, it is from the 80’s, it has sex, and it is catogarized as a “comedy”, but…

Yeah, it isn’t a Sex comedy. My bad.

Ummmm…Anyone mention Zapped!, yet?

I came into this thread to mention Private Resort, in which a young Johnny Depp starred and in which Rob Morrow debuted. Not really creepy, but definitely an 80s teen sex comedy.

My two recommendations, and I have no idea when they actually were made or even what their titles are:

  1. Aired on Showtime (I think; all the details are a bit fuzzy), and I likely caught it in the early 90s. I believe it was called Switch. The premise was two guys posing as rich bachelors looking for wives. One would do the ‘interviewing’ for the other, screening girls, making video introductions, and suchnot (then they’d switch off to get the other one laid). They used their money to rent a limo, dress flashy, and fool the prospective conquests. I remember one woman in particular: the interviewing guy gave her the ‘I could never get a woman like you’ line, while actually crying. Result: she laid him right then and there. Then she’s on a date with the other guy, and wastes little time screwing him right there in the limo. Despicable, in that the guys would be so underhanded yet pathetic, and that the women would be so willing to debase themselves sexually for a perceived gain.

  2. I don’t know where or when I saw this, but it was a weird take on Archie and the gang. I think they actually used the names Archie, Reggie, etc., but it was some kind of sexual misadventure thing. Archie was this dark-haired little nebbish who could never get laid, and then when he did, he never got to finish. At one point, he was roped into the making of a porn video with Veronica, and was finally with the girl of his dreams. Before he could finish, the place was raided. Etcetera etcetera. Creepy because of the reimagining of Archie’s world. It was softcore, tho, at least the version I saw.

  3. There is no #3.

If anyone remembers the names of my 2 entries above, I’d be grateful to hear them.

In the Mood has a very special place in my heart.

My GF and I saw this in a theatre and we were the only people there. But since the other screen had a crowd, yes the theatre only had two screens, they ran the show for us. Since we were the only people there…

 :o

  1. No clue

  2. I recall this one, and I recall that it was made by Penthouse magazine. Oh wait, here it is.
HOT TIMES (A Hard Day For Archie; My Erotic Fantasies; Sweet Sixteen) 1974 [B+] The unholy alliance of Fight For Your Life producer Robert A. Endelson and David Holtzman’s Diary director Jim McBride team up to bring you this oddball NYC teen comedy billed as “American Graffiti with sex.” With it’s Brooklyn/Queens ambience and vaguely fifties comic strip vibe it often feels likeThe Lords of Flatbush looking thru a peephole at The Archies changing in their locker room. From what I understand, this project was originally called Gone Beaver and was to be produced by BBS, the folks who brought you Easy Rider and Five Easy Pieces. With theatrical trailer.

3.Private School for Girls

Yes…?

Oh good, there you are NoClueBoy, the new NoClue signal light works perfectly.
Look at the desperate call for assistance here and see if you can help. Or maybe you can.
::At this it seems like he is looking directly at the reader, till the camera pull back to reveal he is actually addressing Police Chief Wiggum.::
Can you grab the list of demands, chief?

Thank you,. Ahem:

It aired in the 90s, not the 80s, but the creep;iest sex comedyh I’ve ever seen was Elektra, starring Shannon Tweed as the protagonists’ mom – and chief sexual rival to his girlfirend. It was genuinely and intelligently funny, too, though a lot of IMDB reviewers didn’t seem to “get” it.

Yeah, but it’s not really incest. They very briefly think they’re brother and sister, but then the butler admits he was married to the housekeeper and he was really the spunky chauffeur’s dad.

Me too! She had the best smile!

The bile rising in my throat seconds your nomination.

Mentioning a movie Mystery Science Theater did feels like cheating, but Hobgoblins still merits a mention. It’s a vile, misogynist, trashy movie devoid of any redeeming qualities.

Not necessarily comparable to many of the others mentioned, but this is what first came to mind when I read the title of this thread:

Eating Raoul

Creepy? check
80’s? check
sex? check
comedy? check

Jesus, finally! All these years I thought I was the only one to watch that one. Yeah, damn creepy.

There was some French movie that translated into English as “Tender Cousin” about, obviously, cousins that get it on. A little to incestuous for my taste.

And it was based on a true story!

VCNJ~

Wasn’t the Nerds line actually “Gentlemen, we have bush!” ?

:dubious:

These details are important, you know!
