That is weird. Just recently here at a certain prestigious college in China(where I study), a 12 year old foreign girl was nearly assaulted by her Chinese tutor. She escaped but the freak came back at night and stood outside her family’s apartment, slashed his arm from his armpit to his hand and just yelled her name while he stood there bleeding. Naturally it was dumbed down in the “official” story. Still…oddly similar.

Seriously though…the guy’s father thinks he’s “Sick in some way”…gee, what tipped you off? The sexually explicit, harrassing letters, or the assault of an entire classroom full of people with a pair of butcher knives…under the pretense of apology? sheesh Yeah, I agree. He gets the Creepiest Stalker of the Year award for 2001. But at least he finally combed that cowlick down. Who’da thought?

Maybe there’s a local chaper of the He-Man Women-Haters Club he can join in prison (but I doubt he’ll like the initiation ritual).
Not to suggest that this kid shouldn’t be locked up, but…isn’t there some kind of institution, a mental hospital for the “criminally insane” or whatever they call it? I’m afraid that even if he gets all the counseling they can give him in prison, he’s still going to be surrounded by violent, messed-up people. How is he going to learn to behave normally in there?

Just remember though-this guy isn’t thinking logically, so to his mind, what he did was normal. Which should scare us even more.
