I bought a bottle of crema de agave rosa in February in Mexico. I haven’t opened it, but now it’s clear, not pink. Anybody know why? Will it taste different?
Well, without the exact composition I can’t tell you the exact compound that’s been affected, but in any case it’s whatever compound gave the agave its color and it may or may not change the actual taste. You can always email the manufacturer from their Contacto link and ask if that changes the taste. Did you keep it in a well-lit place, maybe a hot one? Both light and heat are likely to affect colorants.
