Law & Order Criminal Intent: Season 7, Episode 12, Wheeler’s first case after coming back to the show. In this episode, a blackmailing gossip columnist (Mo Rocca as Matt Drudge) is murdered and the trail leads to a slimeball Hollywood producer.
We get a cameo from Mary McCormack as the character from In Plain Sight. She tells the detectives about someone connected to the murder who’d left the Witness Protection program and then leaves the squad room.
As soon as she’s out of earshot, Det. Wheeler says “She’s a slut.” Why? Made no sense in context. Did I hear it wrong?
