Criminey. I know they’re ‘ripped’ from the headlines, but did they really need to toss ** three** fucking headlines for one show? we’ve got your idiot w/the pants dry cleaners, we’ve got your “wal-mart” ish evillll corporate entity, and we’ll top it off w/your poisoned Chinese imports.
day-um. And this was written before the writer’s strike?
I’m still confused what did crazy pants guy have to do with evil [del]Walmart[/del] Savingsmart corporate executive guy? How did the dry cleaners’ daughter know about the toothpaste? I don’t like McCoy as the DA. And why can’t they have a middle-aged female as Executive Assistant DA and a sexy young guy as ADA for once?
The dry cleaner’s daughter didn’t know anything about the toothpaste. She took the pants to her office because she thought that the suing guy was trying to get them or destroy them or something. It was just a coincidence that the dry cleaners confused the suing guy’s pants with the pants of the Savingsmart guy.
I thought they did the “former associate of one of the core characters who goes on the witness stand to right a previous wrong” thing much better in the Martha Moxley-inspired “Amends” from several years back.
Overall, though, I’ve liked what I’ve seen of the new season.
