Extra-thick. About 11 slices to the pound, FTW! Crispy, but not burned. Fried on an iron skillet or griddle as Og intended. A press can be utilized for maximum flatness, but frankly, a little curl on the end stays a bit chewy which is tolerable.
I used to think microwave bacon was an abomination, but I recently discovered that I can have 2 to 4 crispy slices ready in seconds for my home-made clubs and subs.
That’s the most I’m willing to compromise.
