Critical Race Theory and Education

So there seems to be a blanket prohibition on discussion of education in threads about critical race theory. This seems a bit like prohibiting discussions of when life begins in an abortion thread.

Its application to education is one of the most controversial aspects of critical race theory.

Are there other similarly controversial topics that are banned?

You don’t want to discuss “education” in any general terms, you just want to beat the same dead horse of Asian school admissions in a thread that isn’t actually about that.

This is incorrect and making weird assumptions.

However all the prior CRT threads dove down a rabbit hole of education issues specific to Magnet schools and the current one is not allowing it. Have fun. Maybe start your own CRT thread on schools if you feel so compelled.

OK so we can talk about education and crt generally, just not about magnet school admissions in that particular thread? I assume this also applies to college admissions as well.

So I can in act talk about how CRT is affecting school curricula and education policy (like the move to eliminate accelerated math in california or eliminate gifted programs in nyc)?

Stay away from Education issues in that thread!

Is that clear enough.

You can start your own thread if you want to talk education.

OK so it is all education topics related to critical race theory. Gotcha.

So, not a ban, nor a blanket prohibition.

Yes but in that thread there is a blanket prohibition on talking about education.
