That is a really great photo.
Thanks. Obviously not taken with my critter cam! I noticed them hanging out and snuck around the side of the garage with my good camera. Takes them awhile to decide if I’m a threat or not, so I usually get some good pictures before they run off.
Be sneaky some more. Those pictures are good stuff.
Have not got the 2 extra cameras working correctly yet and still have added 45 from group 504 to the big album. Bawahahahaha
Birds & deer & a squirrel.
34 from group 502 added.
Wow !!! Now that is some flying bug…
I like the way I can zoom in until I have a ‘Bat’ signial for the 4th, W00t !!!
Good job. I will follow your bug conga line… Bawahahahaha
11 From group 393 using 3 cameras. A couple need some work I think… The one with the IR portions is all apart and in the oven. I think the other one needs that treatment also. Just warming them enough to run off any moisture. I got the lens covering moved before I put it in. Gonna run a test in the house tonight where it is easier to find stuff I drop. It is cooler in here too.
Yard birdz. The adult male bluebird you see in the photos is the daddy of the young one that’s in a couple of them. He’d been feeding Junior as late as last week, but now when Junior flies in, he flies away. Gotta get his own food out of the pantry now!
Things have really slowed down.
Hot
Muggy
Rain
Several days worth and some news on Zeus.
Still only 16 pictures.
Great pictures. What kind of ‘hide’ are you using? How many days or hours invested?
Just sneaking around? What camera? What settings? ISO, AP, Shutter speed, post processing, how big is your crop in a % of the total picture? ?? ::: I be jealous ::::
More please.
When the weather’s nice and I have an hour or two, I just sit on the porch and wait. Some of the birds get very used to my presence and go on about their business.
I do very little, if any post-processing. I may adjust the lighting, but that’s about it. I’ll crop, and how much will vary. I usually set the camera to automatically adjust ISO and f-stop around shutter speed since that’s the most important setting for small flying things and there’s plenty of light. Shutter speed can be anything from 1/800 to 1/2000, depending on what I want pictures of and light conditions. Camera’s a Nikon D7200, 70-300mm zoom.
So how many pounds of hair did they take off Zeus?
Last I heard, the sent the rough stuff to the dump in a truck and the rest they are still making new puppies from, unofficially, they are up to 27 I heard.
Sweet Camera and good glass. I am always wanting glass I can’t afford.
Got a BIL with that camera ( big Nikon anyway ) and when they go to interesting places, he rents a big glass and gets some really good stuff. I didn’t even know you could do that.
Might post up some of his pictures. I’ll ask him if he would mind?
Five pictures a BIL took with his cannon camera and rented glass.
I’m getting a 404 on your link
I’ve thought about renting a nice lens for some things, might give it a try sometime. Mine is not that great, though it works well enough - price and weight are considerations for me, and what I’ve got is what met those criteria.
Hummmm, try this:
Nice! The leopard is hilarious!
Only until it wakes up then it is all scary again… :::: flee :::::::::::::::::::::
