And the next Darwin award goes to…
I have seen the documentary on the National Geographic Channel. In fact, I watch Brady Barr’s show whenever I can and enjoy it. He may seem like he takes unnecessary chances, but he is an experienced naturalist and not someone like Tim Treadwell, for example. He made every effort to make sure he was protected and had people with him to help if he got in trouble, although I don’t know how much help anyone could be against a 12 foot croc. But the point is, sure he takes risks to make his documentaries interesting, but he’s not one of those nuts that don’t take precautions, and in my opinion is less extreme than the late Steve Irwin.
When I first read that article a few days ago, I just considered what he did to be amazing. Not something I’d do even if I could – but still interesting.
I thought his disguise was amazing until I realized that he was the bottom crocodile and not the top one :smack:
Now that is dedication to the job. He’s not doing this for entertainment, he’s working towards learning more about these animals in order to save them. Good on him.
Holy Doc Savage!
