I dont get it.
Cecil Adams? The Straight Dope guy?
Okay, sorry, I just busted out laughing when I saw it – The SDMB was already going to be my next stop after I finished reading my comics – and thought I’d share.
I read the three previous cartoons. You could cut out the nine panels and shuffle them up and place three randon ones together and they’d make just as much sense and be just as funny as the originals.
I thought the idea of cartoons were to be funny?
The thing is, that hospital gowns are open in the back. So, breakdancing would reveal… things. I suppose the “Cecil Adams” thing was a coincedence.
It’s the Saturday, May 14, 2005 strip, not the Friday, May 13, 2005 one. Is the name “Cecil Adams” merely coincidence? Does this comic normally use names that have never been introduced in the strip before? The strip isn’t particularly funny, but then it never is.

Well, I’M amused at the idea of Unca Cecil breakdancing in a hospital gown. Slug should draw a picture of it for the new T-shirts. He could call it, “Stupidity, I wave my naughty parts at you.”
I’m sure you meant ignorance, but stupidity fits.
