- Four of a kind
- Maj. muscle
This one’s delightfully esoteric – I’d normally consider it a bit too jargony for my tastes, but it’s an original clue I was not expecting and cute to boot. (A quad is a printer’s term for a space [originally referring to the metal spacer itself] – either an em or and en, and en em quad is also known as a “mutton quad.” I had to look that up – I was aware of the printer’s term “quad” but not “mutton.”)
Off to you @panache45
Yeah, I was afraid it was too jargony, but decided to go with it anyway. As a former typographer, I’ve known the term for 50 years.
Ok, this should be interesting:
JOHNSON
- Lakers’ Magic
- Half of a pharmaceutical corporation
- Very interesting Laugh-In cast member
- Howard, of orange-roofed fame
- Mop-topped UK PM
- The most common surname in Rock Ridge
- Big Unit
- Masters partner
- “London” poet
- Willy
- Shared presidential surname
(Actually, I’m debating whether “Willy or John Thomas” is better for #4 or gives it away too much or is too esoteric on the latter.)
You don’t have to call Bill Saluga this.
- Space Center eponym
- The end of LBJ
- AKA The Rock
- Marine motor maker
- Brat city? Minusville!
- Baby powder’s nominative case
Youngsters may not get this, but I had to give it to @Gyrate. It brought back too many crazy memories. Some of you may have to Google Bill Saluga.
Now I feel old.
But hooray nonetheless!

Mind you, with a bit of tweaking this could have won…
Somewhat disappointed you didn’t go with “Part of a large organ you pull”, but I accept that not everyone’s mind is in the gutter like mine is.
