I don’t understand these. Anyone got it?
Trust me…most bigger businesses and companies have used this garp. “Let’s identify our core values.” Buncha booshwa, and Aziraphale is with me on this one. Right up there with all the other crap that litters “mission statements.”
It’s one of those annoying business buzzwords like “synergy”.
I actually took “core values” in the context to mean the typical Religous Right’s “Christian Core Values” ala some of the groups that disdain anything that does not mesh entirely with their beliefs.
In Good Omens, Aziraphale is frequently horrified by some of the things Christians have done in the name of God. I’d like to think God Himself would be similarly horrified.
High-quality material.
Seconded, thirded, and fourthed, and now I’m dying to try this out.
At this point we should start adding our own!
No ideas at the moment . . .
Don’t use super glue, use a quick drying epoxy. There’s less chance of them being able to pry the coin up that way.
Drat! Posted too quick! Did anyone else notice there’s a sequel due out next year! Now, if only the studio would let Terry Gilliam make the movie of the first one.
My version: glue a dollar bill to the entrance of a college dorm on the first day of Freshman Orientation.
