Cryptic overlaps

I had assumed we’re looking for an anagram of “I fear filming the” which makes an actress who was in Lost, but even with checking the cast list, I couldn’t make it work. So I could use a hint, unless someone else can make something of that.

“Lost” is just the clue that it’s an anagram. The actress in question could have been dead before that show aired.

The best I can do is form “Fleming” as one of the names, but that goes nowhere.

Thank you, I should have thought of that. I did think of “Fleming” too, but one letter short of the surname and I don’t know anyone using that as a first name (no doubt someone has). Anyway, I have it now, thanks to your help:

How about:

Sunrise Kiss by Rocky P. Brickman (1983): “Outstanding Debut.” (5, 8)

I got the author’s name wrong.

It certainly was (apologies for the delay, good on you for carrying on in the meantime).

I’m not getting very far with this one - do I take it that “Natty”/“Rocky” is an anagram indicator? Aha, just got it!

RISKY BUSINESS (anagram of “Sunrise Kiss by” - I now see the film was the directorial debut of Paul Brickman) - nice one.

Right answer, wrong reason - “essen” means “to eat” in German. As for yours, I think it may be SENSEI, but I can’t quite see where the ‘crime ratio’ part comes in.
