Just want to give a shout-out to this month’s Harper’s cryptic puzzle “Sixes and Sevens (and Twelves).” Harper’s is still a fine read in this time of disappearing magazines – and the cryptic puzzle itself is worth the cost of the publication.

I’m a fan of those Harper’s puzzles. They can be a challenge. There’s often a theme, and it’s not always a walk in the park to guess what the theme is. But once you do, bam! it’s a big boost.
