I loved it. Being clear was mostly just a gimmick, of course, but I thought there was a subtle improvement in the flavor, and I really appreciated having a widely-available caffeine-free cola with sugar. It seems like if you have options on your cola, they’re almost always regular, diet, and diet caffeine-free.

If Diet Crystal Pepsi returns, I will be in love. My 12-year-old self, who thought she was the size of the Goodyear blimp, loved Diet Crystal Pepsi.
Wow. I thought Crystal Pepsi was just regular Pepsi with the artificial color taken out. I have now found out from this thread that it was caffeine free and apparently tasted more like cream soda.
Didn’t someone do a soda with no artificial coloring; but everything else stayed the same?
Dare I hope that since consumer pressure has contributed to bringing back crystal Pepsi, it might someday prevail in the battle to bring back Planter’s Cheez Balls??
