So, Horatio Caine - Dead or Alive?
My guess is that he was wearing a bullet proof vest that was referenced earlier in the show to keep the shell from fragmenting. So while still shot, not as bad as it could have been.
Who did it? Julia? Kyle? Ron? Ryan Involved somehow?
Seems like it’s been a mass exodus of cast members from either CSI series over the last couple of weeks. Just hoping Natalia (Eva La Rue) is not next 
The vest wouldn’t do any good–if you remember, they explained that the fused alloy round would just pass through a vest or body armor. So it doesn’t look very good for old H.
But Ryan being involved? Jeez!
I can’t help thinking that there’s going to be some lame-ass way out of this in the first 5 minutes of the season premiere. Losing a supporting cast member is one thing, but I hardly think CSI:M can afford to lose Caine. My guess is that they’re staging the whole thing to catch Julia’s husband, and Ryan’s text message didn’t come from one of the bad guys.
