CSI:NY 10/06 rant

Maybe it’s a sight problem for some of the CSI’s. Way back before we were having these conversations, I recall a CSI Miami episode where Horatio (that wonderful method actor we all love) was lining up with a SWAT team to bust into a house, and, as he was going in, he put ON his sunglasses.

See, I might buy this except that there were only two or three roaches in the scene and they certainly could have digitalized them in. And, the X-files roach episode - which should be the standard by which all other bug episodes of any program are judged (IMNSHO), they used the German roach and they used (or digiatlized) tons of them.

ltfire that is priceless. If I didn’t hate CSI:Miami so much, I might watch just to see that.

Yeah, everyone knows that your common cockroach is a prima donna that won’t take direction and makes crazy demands.

Oh … and they’re really icky.

About the Mag-Lite: I’ve always assumed it is because they want to see the crime scene the way it was left. I read this in a book once. Please don’t ask for a cite - I don’t remember the book. But, the person doing the search said that she looked at the crime scene the way it was when the crime occured; so she saw what the killer and the victim saw. But, if the room is completely dark, you’re not going to see anything. So, use a little Mag-Lite and you can see just enough.

I could be wrong though.
