Curb Your Enthusiasm returns (SPOILERS)

I’m always happy to see Paul F. Tompkins (the non-Jew lawyer). Love that guy.

Long balls.

Now THIS week’s episode was hilarious. The racial humor and the burlesque dancer worked, and even the battered women’s shelter kinda worked. And Super Dave was really funny, which surprised me, and I hope it continues.

CRINGE-worthy - and that’s why i watch Curb.

Had to bring back this thread to say I really liked the last “Car Periscope” episode. The second story line involving the one-armed man was a nice homage to the classic The Fugitive series. They even used the old theme music by Pete Rugolo. Man, that warmed my heart. One of the greatest TV series ever was The Fugitive with David Janssen. Someone on the CYE writing team obviously agrees.

I dug the music myself! I just have to wonder who watches whom more for ideas, Larry David or Louis CK. The levels of comedy they explore are so far above most others. A couple of guys without shows that I really like are Nate Bargatze and Anthony Jeselnik. And above them all, Maria Bamford.

I really like that they have moved the show to NYC for the past few episodes - it has opened up a lot more opportunities and looking forward to seeing Larry dealing with more New Yorkers. Hope he gets to the Hamptons.
Considering Seinfeld lives in NYC, wonder if he might pop up in a show before the season ends?

He did pop up the last time Larry was in NYC, in the audience when he was starring in The Producers.
