Looking back on the curly-haired men I’ve known since their youths, most are bald in their 40s. Does having curly hair make a man more disposed to baldness?
Just an anecdote. I have curly hair. Always did. I have much hair at 66.
Too much Dihydrotestosterone in your skin’ll make you bald.
A lot of cystine in your hair protein will make it curly.

I have straight hair - very much rapidly going bald.
My brother has curly hair, as did my Dad. Neither affected by baldness. They did have weight problems, though, which I do not, so you take the good with the bad.
It’s possible that what you’re noticing is that it’s easier to hide partial baldness if you have straight hair than if you have curly hair.
