You can set the forum display options (bottom left corner of the forum display) to show threads “from the beginning” “in ascending order.”
Similarly, you can adjust the search results (in advanced search) to find posts from “Any date,” and sort them a variety of ways, including by “thread start date” “in ascending order.”
You can do that but it will still only show 200 threads. Jerry posted an announcement saying he temporarily capped thread display at 200 because it appeared to be the culprit for hanging the boards.
Not sure if he fixed the problem and set it back so you can display more than 200 yet. I’m guessing not, snice I haven’t seen another announcement.

The 12th was the last update and the only sign of changes was to remove a few minor functions.
Can we get an update please, even if it is to say that **Jerry **got pulled off for other needs.

Am I the only one who’s happy that the Search menu in the navbar is broken? I want “advanced” search 100% of the time, so for the past few weeks I’ve been pleased to not have to wait for the popup and then click another link (which is a much bigger savings when navigating via keyboard).
If you use Firefox, you can get advanced search 100% of the time by middle-clicking on the link and it’ll open in a new tab.
We now have the ability to tag threads.

On the last bullet, is that the reason for the slight slow down of the last few days? I am not complaining as it was very minor, just curious if that was cause. The timing seems correct.
The tags look like they can be a very useful new way to surf the Dope.
How does the multi quote button work? Pressing it directly does not appear to do anything.
Press the multi quote button on each post to be quoted, then press “post reply”. You will get a message box which you can edit further.
Trial and error- but eventually I figured it out!
Unrelated- but EDIT does not seem to be working…

ETA: Looks like it’s working after all.
ETA2: Cool feature with the edit history, too… wonder if it works for people other than the “owner” of the post?
