Curtis Williams died today 2 days after his 24th birthday.
I was watching the game when he was injured and I knew it was bad.
But he eventually regained conciousness and it seemed even though he would not walk again that he was doing well.
He was here less than 2 weeks ago to watch the Huskies play a spring scrimmage and to register to finish his last 6 credits for his degree. He also threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Mariner’s game while he was here. I thought that it was so great that less than a year after such a devastating injury that he was at least emotionally and mentally healing.
To me, he was a model of courage and perserverance.
Go with God Curtis.
