Customers called "Fat Girls" on receipt at restaurant

Has anyone actually said this?

E X A C T L Y!

I wanted to post that but couldn’t write because I was afraid that I could be regarded as whiner.

As long as you are white it’s ok

Which generation is that?

My ancestors are from Central Asia, Middle East and Eastern Europe. Am I fine?

Ask Saraya. I am sure they could give a better answer than I. They’d have to see if you looked “white” enough or not  Since they were the one who made that comment about only non-whites complain and feel entitled.

Whichever one that Saraya doesn’t like.

Shame, shame, shame, they may read that and take offense to those descriptors.

Best to just say your ancestors are people.

Should we notify all the Big and Tall stores of their egregious error?

Do you consider this a devastating retort? It’s obviously relevant to the service and goods they provide. Or did you not take it to heart when I mentioned upthread that context was important?

Nah, I thought it a light hearted jab.

Spin whatever you wish from it.

LOL. Nice.

So Hbns, by your own criteria they may only be referred to as ‘The Stores’ right?

And as far as I’m concerned, ‘The Stores’ most egregious error is only providing clothing for customers who are tall…and also fat. Not a waist size below 42 in sight.

I should have taken note when I realized they weren’t called ‘Big and/or Tall Stores’.

Ah - thank you for clearing that up Diosa. I was confused.

…googled this and this thread was number one in the list. No movies turned up on the list either, what movie is this from exactly? Life of Brian or something?

Can we move on past “Fat” and whether it was used as an adjective or noun (both)?
Where’s the outrage of him referring to them as “Girls”, anybody can see they are Women/Womyn! (Unless they’re not, not that there’s anything wrong with that.)

They should cut the guy some slack, at least he deleted “grotesquely.”

'tis but a flesh wound

I haven’t read this entire thread, so someone may have pointed this out before, but it seems to me that tables in the restaurants I ate at when I was a kid were numbered. That would eliminate any need for “nicknames” on the check so that the waiter could remember which table was which.
