I have gotten moderator permission to ask. Can anyone give this sweet kitty a home?
This cutie showed up on my back porch in September. We’ve gotten her fixed and she’s had all her shots. We’ve tried really hard to add her to our existing four cat household, but the other cats are having none of it. She’s about 10 months old and very friendly. Could someone please give her a forever home? We’re in central Ohio. I’d be willing to deliver anywhere in Ohio, SW Pennsylvania, SE Indiana, Northern Kentucky. Please help – I don’t want to have to take her to the shelter.
Like everyone else I have too many effing pets already, and I promised my fiance no more. But she is gorgeous and I hope you can find her a happy home.
What a beauty! Shelters aren’t all the same. My suggestion is that you look for no-kill shelters. I can only speak for my rescue group, but critters who come into our hands are treated as well as we can. We do put cats in cages at times, but mostly they are in foster homes.
Currently, I have 6 8-month-old kittens in a room that is made up just for them. They are warm, safe, have room to play and get regular lovings. At 10 months old, she is probably flexible enough to go through the system until she finds her forever home.

We think we found her a home!!! I took her today to one of my colleagues homes. They have three kids and a dog, so it should be an adventure for Skeeter. Keep your fingers crossed. More pics. My close-up. Sleeping in the bathroom. Just hanging out.
