They are cute! Can they be put in an aquarium with small fish like tetras?
Yeah these guys are eating machines. I use a long bamboo skewer to hand feed them. Tonight they had Tilapia! I had them years ago and enjoyed how gregarious and entertaining they are.
Yes I have mine in with a small school (13) of Ember Tetras and they’re all fine with each other. They do need to be in a tank with a water level of no more than 12 inches though. They are poor swimmers and pop up for air every few minutes.

I have 4. There “names” are Dark one, One with two spots, One with more spots and Corona.
When I was about 10 or so, I wanted one for my aquarium. It took me a week to save up 53 cents (50 cents, plus 3 cents tax) to buy one. The next morning there was a meaty skeleton waving its arms (due to circulating water) at the bottom of the tank.
My red-tail sharks got it. 
That’s…terrible.
