If you want to be left alone, you are probably going to have to just step away from Yahoo Answers for a few months and then come back as someone else, with a new Yahoo e-mail address, block all PM’s and IM’s and don’t accept e-mail from other YA users. YA has those settings as an option.
If she’s acting illogically, all the more reason to extricate yourself from the situation. If she’s unbalanced, contacting the police or her kennel club is just going to aggravate her and, as I said, I can’t believe the police are going to get involved in some internet name calling.
I guess PapSett has to decide what’s more important to her - giving advice to strangers on an internet message board or having no more contact with this woman. Either she thinks the woman’s a danger, in which case she should stop participating on the board, or she thinks she’s annoying but harmless, and she can continue on the board and ignore her. Believing this woman is dangerous and continuing to participate on the message board would be foolish.
It takes a few seconds to block/ignore someone but it takes several minutes to make a new account. Eventually you will win if you just continue to waste her time and pretend she does not exist.
Her [name deleted by mods] account was deleted within an hour… Yahoo is keeping on top of her now. I think they know she is seriously psychotic. I have been laying low, just checking to see if she posted anything, so far so good.
And just like Malleus, Incus, Stapes said… Y!A has such a high level of ignorance there it is the PERFECT place to try and educate people. If I don’t have to desert my efforts, I don’t want to… but will if necessary.

I googled one of her user names along with yahooanswers and it brought up two choices, this thread and a thread on YA.
Ask a mod to delete the usernames you posted. You are leading her straight to you.

When you say she PMs you, is that like IM’ing you on yahoo or sends you a msg to your yahoo account? Just delete the emails and don’t respond to any of her posts.
I frequent a food blog that has a lady who is stalking the blogger over an accidental misprint in a recipe that ruined the dish. It’s common knowledge with the regulars that the crazy lady is just that. I imagine it’ll be the same way with your crazy lady if you just ignore her. The blogger decided that she wasn’t going to let the stalker run her life. She spent a lot of time and drama deleting accounts but now just lets her post her “OMG you posted a recipe in 2007 that had 1 tbsp of salt instead of 1 tsp of salt and it ruined my dinner” posts. I imagine most of us frequent there don’t even read her posts anymore, and are quick to point out to newbies how crazy crazy lady is.
However, if you are afraid for your safety or personal info, then yeah, you should probably not go back.

I would like to clarify the situation, just a tad bit.
Seeing as how I’m a regular user/contributor in the Yahoo Dog Section as well, here is my interpretation of this little drama.
I am familiar with both parties…and as the saying goes…there are ALWAYS two sides of the story.
The “Psycho Stalker” mentioned in this post, is a well liked and respected individual with years of knowledge and experience on the subject. She does tend to rub some people the wrong way b/c her answers are…well…realistical and truthful. I guess some cant handle reality or honestly well.
As for the poor stalked “Papsett”…hmmmm…
I recall seeing multiple attacks on the “Psycho Stalker” by YOU. Not warranted, uncalled for and absolutely w/o reason or cause. So maybe, before you start taking your dramatic rants to other websites, you can actually tell the WHOLE story. And possibly, the people being sympathetic to your “cause” here, are rational enough to realize that what you are preaching might not be completely accurate.
