In relation to my recent hospital stay and some microscopic blood in my urine, I’ve been asked to go in for a cystoscopy in a couple of weeks. I have to say that the thought of someone sticking something up my urethra is giving me the heebie-jeebies.
So, fellow Dopers, can anyone who’s actually had a cystoscopy help me out here? What can I expect? Will it hurt? Will I have a sudden urge to kick the doctor in the face and run out of the office? Calm me with information!
