It’s become my go to show while I wait for Game of Thrones episodes to become available.
The first episode intrigued. Leonardo is portrayed as a braggadocio, an engineering genius and artists skilled in the arts of fencing, war machinery, as well as the brush. He is a rogue and spends his time hanging about with roguish friends and bedding women with dangerous husbands, that is until the events of the first episode, where he finds himself on the edge of ruin with THE noble house of florence and the papacy.
Episode 2 was even better. The mystery deepens and man, do some of the performances blow my mind! Blake Ritson (from the World without end) as the main antagonist and Leonardo (specially on the final scene). Fantastic stuff.
