I went to see Daddy Day Care this afternoon, and I thought it was great! It is about time that Eddie Murphy did a comedy that wasn’t based upon crude humor. It was quite good. Steve Zahn (the guy in National Security) was in it, and was also good. My question is…what is the name of the guy who lost his job with Murphy?
And, what did y’all think of it?
An innocuous and utterly inoffensive way to brainfart ninety minutes worth of cranial diarrhea, with such dubious features as a resolutely unfunny Eddie Murphy and an (inexplicably) fully clothed Leila Arcieri.
Plus, as a kindergarten teacher, I was mildly annoyed by the caricature of the spinster/evil witch professional played by Angela Huston. Almost as bad as the brain-dead goody-goody one.
