Shame on you Eddie Murphy!!!!

Haunted Mansion was a piece of dog shit. I know you can do better. We’ve all seen you do better. Shame on you. :wally

I knew that just from watching the commercials. Don’t tell me you actually went and watched it?

ROFLMAO. Murphy returning to SNL might be better for his ‘career’ than continuing to make some more movies.

Yeah, cause what a FOOL he’s being accepting those wheelbarrows filled with cash to be in these films.

And he’s got Shrek II and III coming down the pike. No cash in those, no way!

I meant ‘career’ as in reputation. Shrek worked due to concept. Murphy was just a part of it.

Was this even slightly tolerable? My kids want to go to the movies tomorrow and it was going to be this or Timeline–and there’s already another thread saying Timeline sucks. :frowning:

I saw it last night, I thought it was ok. It might not have been the best movie in the world but I have seen a lot worse. I would say the especially for the young teens it would be a good movie.

On the other hand, it gave the NY Times the chance to use the priceless review headline WHO PUT THE OVERDRIVE IN MR. MURPHY’S MANSION?

Who thought this was going to be good?

I’m sure The Adventures of Pluto Nash II will be the movie that restores his reputation.

The plot was just weak. Eddie Murphy didn’t even BEGIN to stretch the comedic muscles. There were only one or two good laughs.
Shame on him. :frowning:
Go see Elf. Even my mom (whohates movies) liked that.

Oddly enough though, I loved ISpy. That movie is hilarious. Rent that for some really good fashioned Eddie Murphy laughs.

Yeah, Yeah, I know, you all think i’m crazy now.

Hey I’m sure Murphy did Pluto Nash for artistic content only

Now, what does the scoreboard of bad Eddie Murphy/good Eddie Murphy say now? 11-5?

Remember when The Golden Child was his only bad movie? Ah, them halcyon days…

Harlem Nights was on last night.

Some funny shit.

No one would answer, so I pounded on the stanchion…

Guess I’m the only one that liked that movie.

Didn’t Eddie Murphy do a standup routine many years ago about how black people are smarter than white people, because when black people encounter a haunted house and hear a spooky voice saying “Get the fuck out!”, they get the fuck out? As opposed to white people who hang around to investigate things and get slaughtered…

The irony.

Wasn’t that from Delierious?
