I really can’t figure out how people like that actually exist. If it was supposed to be parody, I would think it’s too ridiculous to be believable. Are they just trying to make conservatives look bad?

From my time in service male-on-male rape was not something that people talked about happening like it was akin to walking to the moon on a magical staircase. It happened and probably like rape across all of society it was underreported when it did.
I don’t know what the numbers are, it wouldn’t shock me if male-on-male rape is more likely in the military than in society at large (excluding prisons etc of course.) However, I doubt the difference in incidence is dramatic, and while it wasn’t unheard of it was rare.
Which is to say, concern about soldiers being raped by other soldiers isn’t something to talk about like it’s “nonsense” it does happen. It is nonsense to use that as an argument against the repeal of DADT, because simply put, homosexual rapists already are in the military in all branches. DADT isn’t going to effect that, and depending on how you view human psychology and sexuality it’s possible it will decrease its incidence. I know that some have argued that celibacy amongst the priesthood is part of the reason we had a troubling incidence of priests raping young boys, that celibacy as an “unnatural” thing slowly wore on the psyche of the priests and lead to behavioral dysfunction. Along that line of thinking it could be argued that gays in the military, who are forcefully closeted, may be under persistent stress that might lead them to be more likely to engage in aberrant behavior versus if they were allowed to serve openly.
Something that tends to get forgotten also, is that at 2.3m+ people in service you can replace “homosexual rapists are already in the military” with pretty much anything else, too. The military probably has at least one of every type of deviant criminal.

Not to get all pissy, but I find your implication that strong people can’t be raped (and, as logically follows, people who are raped are therefore weak) to be an unfortunate one. There are ways of incapacitating people of all strengths and sizes and sexual assault is not limited to people of specific body types.
