DADT repeal: National security destroyed, our soldiers raped in their sleep

Bryan Fischer: Benedict Arnold Republicans destroy military and our national security.

I find it somewhat impressive how the fear-mongering is on at least 3 different levels:

  1. National security is destroyed
  2. There will be a draft
  3. If you get drafted, a homo soldier will rape you in your sleep.

Yes: the poor, incredibly fit killer Marine will just lie there while somebody molests him.

I love how all of a sudden rape is a problem. When it’s just women soldiers getting raped, hey, no biggie.

If getting molested in your sleep bothers you, maybe a military career is not for you.

So many people think gays are not discriminating. They will just sexually attack every man they see. How dumb is that.

Seems to me that Bryan Fischer has done a fair amount of visualizing the terrible ordeal of these naked, virile young men being molested in the showers and in their bunks…over and over and over again…ooh.

I just can’t see homophobia as anything but repression any longer. It just screams out at me now!

Implying the inevitable…

  1. Those mincing sissies will be such horrible soldiers they won’t even be able to stop Canada from invading.

Okay - settle down kids.

I think I am fairly well on record here supporting lifting DADT. But let’s not kid ourselves - sexual misconduct can be committed by homosexuals as well as heterosexuals. This can include everything from harassment to rape - and I saw examples of both committed by gay sailors in just a short five-year enlistment.

Anecdotes aside, we all remember Eric Massa, who seems to have gotten away with some pretty disgusting behavior in the Navy because the victims didn’t want the hassle of making a complaint against a higher ranking officer.

I don’t think that lifting the ban will affect this very much, but I also don’t think that making overly broad statements about what gay and straight people will do is helpful. Eric Massa seems to have molested people in their sleep - would you tell those individuals that military service isn’t for them, Thudlow? Seems to me it shouldn’t have been for Massa.

Would a Canadian takeover mean we’ll finally get UHC? :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t think that lifting the ban will affect it at all. If a gay soldier is willing to molest another soldier, it seems to me that it’s pretty irrelevant whether the law allows him to be there in the first place or not. Someone who’s willing to molest another soldier is probably willing to also lie about his sexual orientation to be in the military in the first place, which means that any potential gay marauding molesters who want to be in the service are probably already there, so maybe we should just check to see if there has been a wave of gay molestation in the military? If not, I think we’re probably good.

You’re support of DADT makes you a RINO: retard in name only If you are going to think things through and come to a logical conclusion you might as well come over to the dark side now. We have cookies, gays and apparently loads of pot.

And civil marriage equality. And gay weddings on military bases.

What, this wouldn’t scare Canadians?!

"Squad . . . Camp it up!"

It scares me!

And you know those Canuckistani bastards are just going to force legal pot down our throats . . .

Gives the term “blanket party” a whole new meaning.

Of course not. Our military traditions come from the Brits after all

Military traditions? “Rum, sodomy and the lash”? Those?

The FReepers are having an absolute meltdown, complete with Stalinesque purges of the (relatively) sane voices.

Did you check that one guy bitching about how the homos are always hitting on him? Maybe he should quit using Evening in Paris as his aftershave? PS: link should offer Freeper Cootie! warning.
