One glass of wine with breakfast? Does she drink all day or is that the only time she drinks?
If that is the only glass she has I would find it unusual but not alarming.
Would you worry if she had one glass of wine with dinner every night? I wouldn’t.
What hours does she work? I see no problem with it if she works in the afternoon or evening.

she only drinks a glass a day. however she comes to class in the morning. she said she drinks to relax because otherwise too anxious.
My Portuguese father-in-law to be has wine with breakfast all the time.
Really, what is the difference between a glass of wine with brekky or a glass with dinner? A lot of people have such set notions about what constitutes “breakfast food” and “dinner food” and IMHO are often too rigid about allowing crossover.

I do think it’s a problem that she can’t relax without alcohol, but I think when she drinks it isn’t really a problem.
Well, some people drink coffee in the morning because otherwise they are too tire to pay attention. Drinking to relax isn’t always the best idea, but one glass of wine a day is hardly drinking to excess.

I very often have a beer or glass of wine with my dinner at breakfast time…I do work nights though so maybe its not too weird. I think if she has one glass a day its fine, in fact its probabley healthy (one glass of wine daily is recomended by a lot of doctors) its when she starts the day with half a litre of vodka that you gotta worry!
A glass of wine a day is supposed to be healthy I’ve heard. It would only be a problem with me if it impaired her judgement while driving or if it affected her job if she worked mornings. FTR I really enjoy wine and have had one on occasion in the mornings. I make sure to brush my teeth before I go to work.
How big is this “glass”? It’s not one of those gallon sized brandy snifters is it?

My ex’s father used to have oatmeal with a shot or two (or maybe three - he didn’t measure) of scotch poured on it. Of course, he didn’t stop with that, so maybe he doesn’t count for this discussion.
