Dammit! (feel free to ignore)

I’m sorry, but I really need to whine:

I’m taking this course on French culture at university, because I looked in the handbook and thought it was the prequisite for a bunch of French language / literature courses I wanted to take. I found out I was wrong–too late.

The teacher is very very nice, don’t get me wrong. But she goes so slowly and talks to us like we’re all three and THE CLASS IS SO BLOODY STUPID. It’s a Grade 12 History rehash. If I wanted to learn about Napoleon, I’d go back to high school already–or hell, I’d listen in at one of my History lectures!

And I can’t drop this course, because I won’t get the money back at this point and I won’t blow five-hundred odd bucks of my parent’s money (and mine!) just because I don’t like the course. That’s stupid and irresponsible.

Fuck!!!

It may not be irresponsible to drop the course. Consider that the time spent in the course and doing the work associated with it is time you aren’t spending on the courses that matter.

Just keep repeating “surrender monkeys” to yourself to take the edge off.

Damn it. I loved scrolling past this thread and seeing it with zero replies considering the title.

You suck, Cleophus.
