There’s a new guy in my office (well, since last June), who is a total slacker. He sits beside me reading personal email all day – that he gets sent to his work account, as well as checking Netscape. He can’t do anything without being told over and over and over. He’s also a total kiss up to the bosses. But the real kicker is that even though he has less experience and hasn’t been here nearly as long, he makes more money than me. This really burns me up. He sort of works for me although I have no administrative responsibility for him. Should I subtly let my boss know that he is a slacker? Anyone else have this problem? What did you do?
