Was a HUGE Bruce fan from BTR when in HS. Immediately bought the 1st 2. No idea how many times I saw him. Remember when SO MANY folk said they couldn’t stand his voice? 
Thought The River bloated, and Nebraska was the last album of his I bought - until We Shall Overcome.
At the time, thought Born In a sell out. Listening to it now, I can acknowledge the quality of many of the songs, but I’d place any number of songs off his 1st 4 albums ahead of anything off his later albums.
(Funny how common it is - at least for me - to have really LOVED bands/performers, only to like them less once they become hugely popular. Queen, Rush, Elvis Costello, John Hiatt…)
