Totally agree. Sabrina is handling Louis’s choreography really well. Kelly Osbourne did too on a few dances. But Kelly did get overwhelmed a few times. Louis got too ambitious with the choreography. <shrug> Kelly had no chance against Donny Osmond anyhow. America loves the Osmonds.
Karina and J.R. were a great pair. It’s a shame he’s not on All Stars.

Maybe I don’t understand odds, but if Shawn Johnson is 1/1, how can anybody be anything but 0?
If you put $1 on Shawn to win, and she does, you get $1 . If you put $1 on Kirstie to win, and she does, you get $75.
At least that’s my understanding of it.
Obviously, Shawn is the fave, but nothing is guaranteed. the judges really do seem to love her,though.
Personally the only way I can tell the difference between Shawn and Sabrina is that Shawn spends more time in the air.
Yeah, the betting odds are really only a snap shot if the finale were held next week based on the bets taken. It tells us the likelyhood of winning and as the odds get smaller the greater the odds of winning. So 1/1 is even odds. Shawn would be most likely to walk away with the mirror ball. If you placed a dollar on her you would get a dollar plus the initial bet so you net $2. But there is still a return on the bet. Sometimes the odds of winning are so strong you get no return. Shawn’s not there yet, and the rumba did have mixed reviews.
For Kirstie, bet a dollar, if she wins you get $75 plus your inital bet so you’d net $76 so if you bet $1000 dollars on her you’d stand to win some money if she won.
For me the more interesting bet would be someone like Kelly Monaco who started very low, but gained substantially and she’s only slipped this week. 10/1 if you bet some decent money on her, you might see a great return if she ends up with the mirror ball. It may be a risk betting on Sabrina or Melissa, then again they could have a week that makes the fans love them and there would be a big payday.
Interesting. Are these odds that they actually win the whole thing? If I put my money on Kelly today, and she blows everyone away with the next few dances and ends up winning, will my payoff for her change as the odds change, or will I still get 10/1?

Can I just say… Louis crying at Sabrina’s lovely rhumba… that was kinda amazing.
Nothing really knocked my socks off, though the group number was a lot of fun.
I gave five of my votes to Apolo and Karina, which was the number I liked best, and the other three to Melissa and Tony because I want them to be able to stay in.
Watching Kirstie in that group dance was PAINFUL. She looked fine in her individual dance (fine, not great, but okay) but in the group dance it was so obvious how tired and not-up-to-it she was. Time for her to GO.
Yeah, those were some serious mercy points.
IMO Apolo’s dance was the best tonight followed closely by Sabrina’s and Shawn’s. Overall a fun and enjoyable night. Group dance was fun too.
What was with Giles’ pants. Totally not with the country theme by a long shot. Couldn’t really get into his dance because I was so distracted by the costume.
Think Kirstie or Kelly will be voted off. We’ll see.
I’m a little stunned at seeing Emmitt lose his cool. He’s always so calm and professional no matter what the show does. I wondered if he had a fever with all the heavy sweating in rehearsal. I guess he’s human after all. This was the first week where his dancing just didn’t measure up with the others. I hope he gets it back together next week.
Melissa and Sabrina were my favorites of the night. Really good dances that gave them time to show some emotions. Tony’s choreography just keeps getting better and better. Louis finally found a way to get past Sabrina’s tough exterior. She’s so pretty dancing softer and with emotion.
I didn’t like the group dance. It seemed like no one was dancing in sync. Some of the solos were pretty good, but overall it just wasn’t very impressive.
I hope Shawn’s knee is ok. She seemed so sad and out of it after the group dance. I even saw her wipe away a tear after the judge’s comments. I hope she wasn’t in pain.
I enjoyed Melissa’s and Sabrina’s individual dances the most tonight, and thought Melissa and Kelly were the most fun to watch in the group dance. Kelly actually showed a little personality.
I hope Shawn’s okay too. I’m getting tired of Len always finding some reason to underscore her. An eight and a half for that dance was ridiculous.
Yes! and the reasoning behind the 8.5 was the props. What about the trees (lots) and fire in Tony and Melissa’s routine, or the wagon in Kelly’s? Made no sense whatsoever.
Totally over scored Kirstie IMO. She’s nice and funny, but she needs to go home.
How did Giles end up dancing to “Man, I feel like a woman”? That’s just wrong on so many levels - almost as wrong as his guppy faces. I liked him his season, this season, I like him a little less every week.
Sabrina’s expression looked like she’d pulled something when she was trying to express “intensity.” It didn’t work for me.
I liked Melissa’s and was pleasantly surprised.
Agree with Carrie Ann that Shawn’s solo was underwhelming. But one of the things I do like about her is that she does stay so in synch with Derek. The choreography can put them side by side and it never looks like she’s off or doesn’t quite remember what comes next.
I hate Apolo’s song - plus, dancing to a cancer scare makes that song choice even worse than than the song choice for Giles. I also thought his expression was really odd during his solo and from time to time throughout the dance. I’m blaming the song.
Both Kirstie & Emmet were off in the group dance, but overall it was also the least embarrassing full group dances they’ve had in more than a few seasons.
Ugh, I hate Apolo’s song, too. I have the CD, but always skip it. I feel so manipulated because it actually makes me cry, while simultaneously making me annoyed at crying.
I LOVED Sabrina and Melissa tonight. They both had gorgeous dances! I also really liked Shawn’s dance, but agree that the solo was pretty lame. She just kind of stood there and shook her shoulders - I can only assume she was trying to take it easy on her knee, even if it didn’t seem like she was in the rest of the dance. Even so, she deserved higher scored than Len gave, and his reasons didn’t make a lot of sense.
I enjoyed the group number while they were together. I wasn’t very impressed by anyone’s solo, though. I probably would’ve given the extra points to Kelly, they seemed the most together and least hectic. I have no idea why they gave the points to Kirstie. If they wanted to give out mercy points, they should’ve gone to Kelly. She could really use them to stick around, and it should be Kirstie that goes, not Kelly.

That actually kind of made sense - it was supposed to be reminiscent of the video. Remember the “Addicted to Love” video? “Man! I feel like a woman” was supposed to be the inverse and the men in the video wore, more or less, that.
