That hand does look extraordinarly large on her tiny body…I guess we’ll just have to gauge how romantic he gets with his new partner to see if the Kelly one is “the real deal”
Dwts pros in music video with Pitbull. ET Exclusive
Back to a “fun” season - meaning a lot of the people won’t be “dancers” like the all star season. That’s fine. I hope they also pull back on the rules as well and no gymnastics until the freestyle. Dance moves and partner lifts are fine. Just keep the gym routine out of it.
There has been a few odds makers out there this season, but this one from Wynn Las Vegas includes the bachelor guy who has yet to be announced. So they seem to be more knowledgable than the average Sports betting site about this show
And, I like where they put Dorothy and Tristan
It’s official – the 12th contestant is “Bachelor” Sean Lowe, who’s partnering with Peta (yay!). Link.
Does anyone know what the standard length of a number is?
ABC released the early rehearsal videos for most of the celebrities. They are all at this youtube link.
if all 12 are performing the same night the dance is only a minute long. as the season goes on the dances get longer, in a regular season probably a minute and a half
I think Dorothy is doing really well. I read that some think she’s stiff. not in the least as far as I could tell she has a real ease of movement, and Tristan was introducing Latin and Ballroom in the clip, it wasn’t one movement being rehearsed over and over. I am really excited for this team
Since Andy Dick is from the Chicago area, the Tribune is paying attention to the local boy:
Sample:
“He’s tap-danced around the law, so we know he has some fancy footwork.”
Season premiere tonight!
Any early guesses as to how the truly non-dancers (non-athletes) will do? I’m kind of hoping one or both of the comedians (Andy Dick, DL Hughely) will take it seriously and hang in for a while. Yes, I know a lot of people truly loathe Andy Dick as a human being, but now that he’s in recovery, as a fellow recovering addict I’m rooting for him.

She summed up a friend of mine perfectly. He’s an alcoholic like Andy. I used to get those 5 AM calls years ago and went to fetch him.
GMA clip peaks at Sunday’s camera rehearsal.
There’s brief glimpses of tonights first dances. Val and Zendaya did some tricky moves and look really good. Everyone in the clip did ok. No obvious train wrecks.
This show was just talked about on tonight’s edition of the Entertainment Tonight show and it was said that the odds for Wynonna are 12 to 1. If Kirstie Alley could stick around as long as she did, why not Wynonna?
God bless you and her and Kirstie always!!!
Holly
Kelli Pickler was the first to dance just a little bit ago and to me, she did a wonderful job on her Cha-Cha-Cha.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. She got all sevens for her score. I thought that she should have gotten all eights.
I don’t know who many of these people are, (the Housewife, the Bachelor, the boxer, so far) and I’ve heard of DL Hughley, but I thought he was a very fat black man, sort of round. I must’ve been thinking of someone else.
StG
It’s not even finished yet, but Hughley is my vote to not come back. The Disney Star was great, my early favorite to win it all.
I love them looks that Wynonna was giving the judges! She isn’t scared of anyone!
God bless you and her always!!!
Holly
P.S. To me, she should have gotten all sevens.
Loved Dorothy and Tristan tonight, in fact all the Contemporary dances were the most entertaining.
