Ross, it’s perfectly normal to wonder “what if?” In fact, it’s even healthy (in moderation, of course!!)

Besides, if you’ve known each other for years, and you never got together, then you two weren’t right for each other, anyway. If you were “meant” to be together, no other relationships or situations would have kept you apart. In some possible future, maybe the time will be right for you to be together, but the time wasn’t right then, and it isn’t right now.
