Dare games.

Watching one of my favourite programs - Jackass, I am reminded (by the Jai Alai bit - where Jai Alai players throw oranges at Johny and Steve-O) of a game I used to play with friends.
There’s this wall at our old primary school -The idea is, you get one kick, you have to hit the wall, the next player must then kick the ball (wherever it has ended up, or before it lands or whatever, as long as it’s only kicked once) and must hit the wall. This goes round in a circle.

Whenever a player has missed the wall you add one letter of a word like ‘wanker’ (I can’t remember what the actual word was).

Once a person has a full set of letters and is the ‘wanker’ he must stand against the wall, while the other players get 3 goes at kicking the ball at him. they are alowed to place the ball wherever they like, and they are supposed to kick it as hard as they can.
Anyone else play games where the loser had to endure or do something unpleasant afterwards?

you don’t kick the wall of course :slap: You kick a football at the wall.

we played a game called bloody knuckles where you would put your fist knucnkle to knuckle with your opponent. Then one person would try to hit the other on the knuckles. If you missed then it was the other guys turn. So I guess in this game the unpleasant thing happened during the course of the game. It was fun, but painful.

While playing soccer, our team had a similar game called “ASS”, where you stand in a circle and keep the ball off the ground. Each time you let it fall you got a letter, when you spelled “ASS”, you had to stand (facing away from the field) in the goal and bend over while the rest of the team took shots at your ass.

<cringe> I watched two people play that once. You should have seen those hands shake/quiver afterwards.

It reminds me of a similar game ‘slaps’ where you touch hands, in a prayer type position, with the other person, then you have to try to slap the other person’s hand as hard as you can, or withdraw your hands to avoid the slap. I played it once. Bloody hurt it did! Afterwards I said “Yeah this is a fun game. I can see us playing this a lot” We never played again.

we used to build rock forts and have warsd with M-80’s launched by sling shot and also used BB guns. teh parenter had to be gone of course…

We used to play “Murder Ball” where a few people would stand against a wall while the “pitcher” would whip a tennis ball at the wall and try to hit people. If you were hit three times then you got to become the pitcher…
I remember it hurting a bit when you got hit. I also remember trying to hit everyone twice before going in for the kill…
