David Hogg Fights Pillows with Pillows

Remember David Hogg? He was one of the survivors of the Parkland, FL school shooting who became well-known for his articulate and outspoken response in the wake of the shooting.

Oh yeah, and this teenager also got hounded harrassed by Marjorie Taylor Green in DC. Perhaps you’ve seen the footage. It’s been all over the news. She seems to think the shooting was some sort of a hoax.

Speaking of “all over the news,” we also have Mike Lindell, the “My Pillow” guy who apparently lives under the same bridge as Margie Q. (Don’t worry - it has special shielding to protect them from the Jewish Space Lasers…)

And…David Hogg just started a PILLOW FIGHT with Mike Lindell.

Yes, Mr. Hogg intends to start his own pillow company to compete with My Pillow.

I find this tactic charming, delightful, and frankly hilarious.

I hope it happens.

Everyone forgets though that David Hogg was also really big into banning the Tik Tok app and other conspiracy theories involving Chinese data stealing.

60 Minutes just ran a story about how China is heavily invested, and is quite open about, acquiring, legally or illegally, as much personal information about US citizens as it can, including genetic/DNA information. They’ve engaged in documented industrial espionage on a massive scale for decades, and this is just another aspect of it.

If this was addressed to me, I’m sorry. I was responding to Asuka’s comment implying that David Hogg was wrong to believe that China was stealing data from the US. Perhaps it would have been better in a message rather than here.

If someone doesn’t end this cycle of partisan pillowrization, I see a dark future for America.

I think this is a waste of his talents. He won’t be hurting Lindell, because no liberal would buy a My Pillow now anyway, so Hogg’s is left with becoming a pillow salesman instead of putting his talents, will, and energy into reform.

If David Hogg is still trying to sell pillows 5 years from now, I’ll be very surprised.

That said, I don’t know the future of MyPillow. Mike Lindell should not have gotten himself that ensconced in politics imo. “Generic Trump supporter” probably would have been okay. But if wants to be that politically active he should have run for office.

I admire the gun control activism, but the pillow thing is just weird. There’s better use for his time at Harvard, perhaps taking an economics class. His weird rants on NAFTA shows how clueless he is.

They now have a name, a website, a logo, and a manifesto. The manifesto is brief but indicates a focus on social justice and activism. The below is not the complete manifesto, but it is all of 2 pages long. It isn’t just David, there’s also someone named William LeGate who appears to be something of a wunderkid with a substantial backroll.
