Daylight Savings

What’s so good about it anyway? Do I really need it to be light at 9pm? And wouldn’t it be a better idea in winter, when I might actually want a slightly longer evening?
Does anyone have any opinion on this? Thanks.

I don’t know what you need. Personally, I like it to be light later in the warm months so I can stay active outside longer. I also find it somewhat helpful to have it get light earlier in the day during winter when it’s harder to get out of bed on cold mornings. The daylight helps my body understand that it’s time to stop sleeping.

I’m a hibernator. I close myself up inside my home and wrap myself in blankets & bunny slippers in front of the fireplace in the winter. Because of that, I don’t have much use for evening daylight in the wonter.

Or in the winter.

What’s all the fuss about anyway? People routinely miss an hour of sleep here and there all year long. Sometimes you just end up going to bed later than you planned, but we don’t bitch about it on the evening news (I’m not suggesting that the OP is bitching, but every year the news broadcasts seem to be able to find people willing to bitch about it on the air).

Just consider it another night you lost an hour of sleep, except this time it was planned.
