After years and years and years of being ranked in the top five, my hometown of Brick, N.J. is finally ranked the #1 Safest City in America.
The fact that I moved away from there over the Summer is purely coincidental.

Which civil liberties did you gave up for the additional safety? I’m surprised they let you go online.
Wait . . . ah ha! I get it! You can’t say what you really want because you’re being monitored, right? Don’t worry, brother, I hear you loud and clear. You’re writing in code are’t you?
I’m working on breaking it now.
Viva La Resistance!
Hey now, I have friends that live in Amherst. I used to work there. It’s two towns over from where I live.
I’ve been to New Jersey and was forced to live there by Uncle Sam for a while. It doesn’t have the nickname of “the armpit of America” for no reason!
Neener neener to you.
Watch it you. Where did Uncle Sam have you stationed?
Hey Hal, did you see Camden moved up from Worst to only 5th worst. I hear they are celebrating their triumph.
Detroit is still number two.
Goin strong, baby!
(insert World Series joke here, Jim)
Tragically, Brick, New Jersey was shot and killed only hours after this story came out while being mugged by Saint Louis, Missouri.
I would have thought there would be more unsafe practices at the Cheese Mine!
Besides, Amherst has the perfect solution for remaining crime-free – any crime, they drag the evidence across the line into Tonawanda!
Wow, Reading, PA, 21st worst! Things have been declining there, but whoa.
So THATS why the sheep there looked so happy… (sorry… couldn’t resist… :smack: )
Maybe it had something to do with the new Rt 70 bridge!
Now with 20% less crime!
I can’t believe that Orlando made it on the Most Dangerous 25 list. Orlando? I don’t see it.
Maybe I should start watching the news more.
Heh…actually, it’s just a matter of having an utterly massive police force for such a small town (well, as small a town as you can cram 80,000 people into). The nice thing is that the cops aren’t all hardasses – as long as you’re not doing something ridiculous, you won’t be pulled over.
Trouble is, all that manpower costs money. To the point where a one-bedroom condo in town now goes for about a quarter-mil. Hence, our moving. Ah well.
